Congratulations to all who played Market Street with us this morning! What a lovely day and what lovely music! It wasn’t too hot nor too windy. Everyone did a great job, and it’s so nice to see a big group of younger players in the Group Violins. If you have pictures, send them to us so we can post a few here.

Calling all parents of current and prospective Suzuki Strings students! Don’t forget the parents’ meeting on August 21 at 5:30 p.m. in Carrier Lodge! And we’ll have the registration form for the coming year. Prospective family’s, come meet the parents of current students and learn more about the benefits of our program!
To find us, go to the South end of First Street (along the river). Carrier Lodge will be on your right at the very end of the street, where it intersects with 8th Ave. S. You can’t miss our big parking lot. If you live in this neighborhood, it’s where you go to vote.
Carnegie Hall Link-up today with MSU Philharmonia
The Entire First Baptist Church was filled with elementary school children from Starkville and Columbus playing recorder, singing and we played violins with the Philharmonia using Carnegie Hall Link-up curriculum. Across the country this setting is going on with participating symphonies. Group 2 violins participated from our Suzuki String Program.
