Welcome back for the Spring 2015 semester! Here are a few announcements:

Remember, Spring fees are due now: Orchestra $65, Ensemble $65, Both Orchestra and Ensemble $90

Violin group lessons will be Thursdays at 4:15-5:00 this semester.

Mary Catherine Pogue has moved away from Columbus, but we have a new cello teacher, Griffin Browne (see the Teachers page on our website). He can come on Tuesdays to play with orchestra and give private lessons.

I am a poet, translator, and professor of literature and creative writing at Mississippi University for Women, where I direct the Low-Res MFA in Creative Writing, the undergraduate concentration in creative writing, and the Eudora Welty Writers' Symposium. I have published three books of poetry, Barrier Island Suite, Time Capsules, and Landscapes and Architectures, as well as a collection of translations of the Belgian poet Paul Snook, Hercules, Richelieu, and Nostradamus. I live in Columbus with my wife, Kim Whitehead; son, Aidan; and dog, Aleida.
