Orchestra 3:45 tuning 4:00- 4:50 rehearsal,  Ensemble 5:00 – 5:45, at Carrier Lodge

who will be receive a Mississippi Institute of Arts and Letters award for classical music composition at the banquet in June.

Congratulations again to the 7 students from our program who went to All State Orchestra at Belhaven University, March 23-24! By all accounts, they represented the Golden Triangle very well! They are Scott, Lucy, and Laura Sandifer; Cassie James; Stephanie Smith, Abbey Swartzendruber, and Daniel Jones.

Good luck (and congratulations) to the Columbus Suzuki Strings members who are headed to perform in the All-State orchestra this weekend! Violinists:  Lucy and Laura Sandifer, Stephanie Smith, Abbey Swartzendruber, Cassie James and Cellist:  Scott Sandifer. Safe travels! And have a great time and learn a lot!

Congratulations to all of the strings students who participated in the 2012 Federated Music Club Festival in Columbus. Everyone did a wonderful job and gave it their all. And thanks to the judges and organizers of this annual event! It gives our students so much to prepare for and look forward to each year.
