Our players enjoyed meeting these young musicians from Japan and performing with them at the last Starkville/MSU Symphony Orchestra concert in January! The cultural exchange was facilitated by the fact that we all knew much of the same Suzuki repertoire.

Congratulations to everyone who took part in the Federated Music Clubs Festival on February 18. All 34 of our soloists earned Superior ratings, and most earned Superior on their theory tests! Everyone worked hard on their pieces, and all the practice really paid off!

Even if you haven’t received a formal invitation to the Valentine’s for Carnegie benefit party, you’re still very welcome to join us. We’re taking reservations by phone through February 1, 2017.
