Tuesday, August 28, and Thursday, August 30, there will be brief parent meetings at the start of orchestra and the play-in to elect this year’s officers and vote on this year’s fees. They should last about 15 minutes, so please try to be there for at least one of the meetings!

4:00 p.m. at Carrier Lodge on Thursday August 30th! Big Violin and Cello Play-In.  All students invited!  Wear your lime green Suzuki t-shirt if you have one.  We have some for sale at Carrier.

who will be receive a Mississippi Institute of Arts and Letters award for classical music composition at the banquet in June.

Congratulations again to the 7 students from our program who went to All State Orchestra at Belhaven University, March 23-24! By all accounts, they represented the Golden Triangle very well! They are Scott, Lucy, and Laura Sandifer; Cassie James; Stephanie Smith, Abbey Swartzendruber, and Daniel Jones.
